CONSULTING SERVICES

From non-profits providing community resources, mental health advocates and practitioners, medical and dental professionals, to attorneys, most professionals are engaged with those who have experienced trauma. Yet, despite copious amounts of education, many individuals and organizations are ill-equipped to address the needs of the population they serve – despite their best intentions.

In consultation, I work with individuals and organizations to critically evaluate their interactions, note how they may currently be meeting the needs of traumatized people, and identify the areas where they are not. Throughout the process I provide education, examples, and training on how to create safe spaces, avoid re-activating the trauma, and effectively communicate as Traumatized People generally hear, interpret, and respond to things differently.
